Ari Sherman and Jourdan Samel Co-Founded evo hemp to facilitate the evolution of the United States family farm. By establishing a supply chain of U.S. grown hemp, they’re working to revive the country’s agricultural system. Sherman, and Samel, met in 2008 at the University of Denver, where they became roommates, while the two were studying business. In 2012, they launched their first product line, evo hemp bars. After they spent a couple of years of lobbying the federal government in Washington D.C., a farm bill was passed allowing states to cultivate hemp for the first time in over 60 years. Sherman and Samel went back home to Colorado and created one of the very first hemp supply chains in the United States.
